Project Detail

The project consisted of a Gravity Flow Interceptor Sewer constructed around the west side of Bentonville, and a force main from a new lift station to the existing wastewater treatment plant.

The project eliminated five lift stations. The depth of the sewer varied from five feet to 25 feet. Much of this was in rock, which made excavation difficult.

The project consisted of construction of approximately 12 miles of 15-inch through 24-inch gravity interceptor sewers and four major highway crossings as set out below:

Pipe Diameter   Pipe Length

14 inch              40,700 LF

18 inch              7,700 LF

16 inch              700 LF

15 inch              4,750 LF
