OZARKS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE CORPORATION (FY257)
The project scope called for an addition to the existing office building, renovation of the existing offices, an extension of the existing dock and warehouse, and a major expansion of the operations and services functions of the cooperative. MWY prepared an initial master plan and site facilities study, followed by a large-scale development plan and planning commission review and approval.
The office area was increased from 12,000 square feet to 25,000 square feet while approximately 4,300 square feet was added to the existing warehouse. Portions of the existing office building were renovated to match the new addition. Exterior finishes for the new office included a split-face block wainscot, with face brick and synthetic stucco above. These same materials were also used on the renovation, to unify the two part exterior appearance as one building. Additional parking was provided for customers and for office staff.
The operations and services facilities were expanded to include a new Service Center Building, a vehicle-parking canopy and refurbished equipment storage building. Site improvements include two new transformer storage pads, new distribution and transmission pole storage racks, new wire and equipment storage areas, and a new 88-space employee parking lot.
